A landscape can look finished and still feel static. This Arvada project added the element that changes how a yard feels — moving water, built from real stone and integrated into the plantings so it reads as if it was always there.
The scope
- Custom water feature built on-site from natural stone — not a drop-in kit
- Recirculating pump system, plumbed and concealed
- Stone placement blended into the surrounding beds and boulders
- Plantings placed to soften the edges and frame the water
How we built it
Water features fail at the invisible parts — the basin, the plumbing, the pump access. We build those first and build them to be serviced, then do the visible stonework by hand so every stone sits the way water actually wants to move.
The result
The sound of moving water now carries through the whole yard — and because the mechanics were built for maintenance, it keeps running season after season.
