Do I need a landscape architect or a design-build firm?
For most residential projects, a design-build firm gives you what people hope a landscape architect will: a professional design AND the crew that builds it, under one roof and one contract. Landscape architects are licensed for large commercial and civil work; for a custom home landscape in the Denver area, design-build means the person drawing your plan is accountable for building it on budget.
Can you design a water-wise or xeriscape landscape that still feels lush?
Yes — that is the heart of what we do. Water-wise design in Colorado is about the right plant palette (we work extensively with native and Plant Select varieties), smart irrigation zones, and hardscape that frames the plantings — not gravel everywhere. The result reads as a designed landscape, with a fraction of the water.
Do you offer design or consulting on its own?
Yes. Landscape design and consulting are available as standalone services — a master plan you can build in phases, or an expert set of eyes on a plan you already have. Most clients continue with us into construction, but it is not required.
