New concrete walkways were formed and poured around the home, and irrigation lines were plumbed and sleeved while the ground was open, so nothing gets trenched through a finished landscape later.

Demo first
Before anything new could be poured, the old had to come out — entry, stoop, and worn concrete, demolished and hauled clean so the new work starts on solid ground.
Order matters
Concrete and irrigation come before plants, mulch, or turf — always. Because the flatwork and the water lines went in first, the finish landscape can be built over the top without ever cutting into new work. That sequencing is what one owner-led crew buys you.
