Fencing is usually an afterthought — a contractor drops in panels and leaves. This Denver project treated the property line as architecture: brick masonry columns with steel fence panels between them, built by the same crew that shaped the rest of the landscape.
The scope

How we built it
Footings first — columns that stay straight for decades start below the ground. The brick went up course by course, the steel panels were set between them, and the fence line was planted so it belongs to the landscape instead of just marking its edge.
The result
A property line that used to be a fence is now part of the homeâs architecture — masonry and steel that will outlast every panel fence on the block.
