Drainage solutions that
protect your Colorado home

Water settling along your home's foundation is one of the most serious — and most common — problems Colorado homeowners face. Colorado's clay-heavy soils, dramatic rainfall events and freeze-thaw cycles create drainage challenges that require expert solutions.

Colorado Native Landscapes & Design has been solving Front Range drainage problems for over 25 years. From regrading slopes to the proper 2-4% grade away from foundations to installing French drains, dry creek beds and landscape drainage systems — we diagnose the real problem and build the right solution.

Ignoring drainage issues doesn't make them go away — it makes them worse. The cost of a proper drainage solution is a fraction of the cost of foundation repair. We provide free consultations, written estimates and solutions built to protect your home for decades.

Common questions
Frequently asked
questions
How do I know if I have a drainage problem?
Common signs include water pooling near your foundation after rain, wet basement walls, erosion on slopes, standing water in the yard more than 24 hours after rain, and foundation cracks. If you're seeing any of these signs, call us for a free assessment — catching drainage problems early saves significant money.
What is the correct grade away from a foundation?
The industry standard is a 2-4% slope away from the foundation for the first 6-10 feet. This means the ground should drop 2-4 inches for every 10 feet moving away from the house. Many Colorado homes have settled or were graded incorrectly originally — we correct this as part of our drainage solutions.
